Ernesto Enriquez

Born and raised in Cuba, guitarist Ernesto Enriquez has been performing since early age. He graduated with a degree in music from the national school of instructors in Havana, Cuba and from there on he pursued music as a career. Ernesto started performing music locally in Cuba upon graduation and shared the stage with different contemporary musicians and bands. In the year 2000 he started performing at Havana’s oldest historical site Casco Historico playing traditional cuban music and from there he earned himself an opportunity to perform internationally. Residing in Singapore, Ernesto performs actively in the live music scene and major events. A fervent music composer, Ernesto has been performing his original compositions at notable music festivals such as the International Guitar Festival, Mosaic Music Festival, Womad Music Festival, Thailand Jazz Festival, Gunug Jazz Festival in Indonesia, Singapore Jazz Festival, Fringe Festival Australia as well as at various music venues in the Asian region such as Peel Fresco (Hong Kong) Orange Peel (Hong Kong) Ryoshi House Of Jazz (Bali) etc.
